Looks like you had a good time, the journey there and the Friday daytime and night before the race are just as good as the race itself!!

I'm next going to go in 2011, but not sure if its true I heard that the GT cars are pulling out next year??

Yeah was an awsome time. Might be doing 24h Nurburgring race next year instead
and then stay on for a few days to do a few laps. Might go to LM too not sure yet,
will have to look at the bank closer to the time.

The missus want's to go abroad next year, offered to buy her a one way ticket but she didn't see the funny side of it :lolz:

May try convince her into us going to Le Mans :halo:

EDIT: How much roughly did it cost, granted my fuel costs would be significantly more.

LOL

Well camping costs from £70 - £250 per car, obviously the £70 won't be in a very good location.

In fuel I did a tank there and a tank back. (thats Dover to Le Mans) So add on any costs from
your house to Dover. (think its about £45 to fill but cant remember, petrol in France is 1.4 epl!!)

Spending money - about 300 Euros is comfortable but I spent 200 euros this year, it all
depends if you cook food yourself or buy it for a fortune hot.

Oh, nearly forgot toll roads cost about 36 euros each way.

Race ticket - 60 Euros or if you have a student card 30 euros.

It really depends on where you camp and how much you spend on food/beer while you're
there. Beer is dirt cheap in the supermarkets over there. Like 6 euro for 24 stubby bottles.

Think I personally spent about £340 in total this year (and my passenger did too) but our camp
site was pretty expensive. Some people do he while thing for under £200 each.

Hope this helps

Emlyn

We got it for £38 return as part of a group but I think you can get it for £50 return
normally.

Norfolkline btw
