Hi. JUst taking my si for its re-mot and just stopped at a junction. Car turned over way too freely. Result broken cambelt! Rang around a few places and they'll only sell me an engine not a head. Can I just replace the valves or has more damage been usually done?

you can rapair it but usally its a lot of money it would most probly be cheaper to buy a whole engine take the top half off and use that and scrap yours on now

if you do decide to fix it remeber that you will have to change head gastket and maybe get the head skimed what engine is in your fiesta by the way

and how much have they said a whole engine would be

Hi. Its the 8 valve 1.4 si, rubbish btw. I've taken the rocker cover off and I have two very slopey rockers, so I'm hoping its just the 2 valves that have bent. They want 350 for the engine and then I got to get it put in. :( :( :(
