anyone done the above and is it an easy job to do?

any sort of guide would be helpful or anyone knows a link/pics

i would probably be able to get round doing it meself but it is good to know from others of any issues that may arise when do the job

unplug the wire that goes up the engine side of the engine bay undo the speedo cable think its a 22 or 21 mm nut douse the pin in the side of the vss in wd40 or stronger get some molegrips attach to the pin an hit the molegrips

now this is where it comes out or you start to swear at it as the pin some times snaps off (try not to snap it)
once the pins out it should come out with a wiggle

underneath the car its ok to get at not sure about gong from the top its at the back of the gearbox you ull find the speedo cable going down to it

done mine from under the bonnet as i broke the pin cost me £50 at fords for a new one so i had a working speedo again
