Today i was changing the battery terminals (yes i know the bolt isnt put in yet in the pic lol) and i was generally checking the wires then i saw this one hanging down near the radiator not connected to anything and couldnt work out where its meant to be connected, obviously its an earth, so i had a look around and i have the one going from the battery to tray to gearbox, so its not any of them. The one that im holding is the wire thats closest to the suspension in the pic coming from the battery (goes in under the wire that goes to the tray irrc).

So for now i have connected it to the chassis, if anyone could have a quick look for me and see where it goes that would be good!

I memory serves me correct, it connects to the negative battery terminal itself :)

It cant do, because its coming from the negitive terminal where the 2 big wires go onto the terminal in the big connector. So it must be an earth for the chassis or something! I will pop down the scrappy later and have a little look on a fiesta to see if i can see where it goes. :)

I remember mine had that same L shape connector, and it went on the battery terminal. Looks like yours have been changed as you have the round battery terminals as opposed to the L shaped battery terminals.

See this pic, you can see my battery terminals. That's the originals used. :)

Yeah, I can imagine it would make life a bit easier as most batteries are the round terminals. But I'm 99% sure that particular connector did indeed go on the battery. Might just be that whoever done the swap may have put the other end to the battery and the original battery terminal to the chassis or something...
