At my last drift session, I used Avon ZZ-1's on the front, and fook me I had my work cut out.

Had good old ditch finders on the back, holding a silly psi

Even in the wet, I had to hang it out for ages before I could get the front to slide in unison on opposite lock......resulting in many a 360 :D

From the moment I picked up your book until I laid it down, I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it.

I've had a fresh set of Pirelli P-Zero Neros on the Clio for the time being as I was struggling to source Michelin Pilot Exaltos PE2s. They're an excellent tyre in the dry and I have little problems in pressing on in the wet with them. My size is 195/45/16 FYI.

The 106 has had Some Toyo Proxies on. At the moment and I've noticed little difference between them and the Goodyear Excellence' I had on previously. Both tyres seem to provide a viable equivalent to the now defunct Eagle F1 in 14".

yes!!! i didnt know if it had anything to do with the pressure inside and the strain the tyre was under that affected the condition!!!! no need to be a sarcy cu~t :squint:

Switched to F1 GSD3s for this time around. £290 fitted for 195/45/16. Grip in the dry is around the same and a bit better in the dry when I'm putting the power down. In the recent snow they were totally useless. Mums 14" Michelins were far better on the 1.3 power house.

GSD3s are the old version now. You want Eagle F1 Asymmetric now. I'd have gone for these but sadly I'm only on 16s and the smallest they do is 17.

people complain that the fronts on the Pzero's are buggered after 12000 miles on ST's, and i'm on 3300ish already so will be this year at some point :)

Well I need new tyres for the cupra soon as the current "langtangs"or whatever the hell they
are have just about worn out. The only benefit is when the traction control is ON I get all
sorts of fruity chatter as it cuts the throttle and puts it back on haha :lolz:

Anyway I havn't had to buy tyres for a while so don't really know whats hot and whats not at
the mo.

Anyone tried the new proxies? think they are called tr4's or something similar
Eagle's are always a safe bet but I wouldn't mind some that are shite in the wet and
awsome in the dry again like my old prada's.

Any idea's peeps???

Ta

Emlyn

G-Muzzy-205/40/16 I think you want mate maybe 45's.

hankook RS2s

failing that, proxes are always a safe bet for the money, I find are very good for tyres and have excellent customer service
