Hi there. I got my Si on wednesday and its awesome!! there is one thing i have noticed tho is at around 4,500rpm it seems to hold itself back for abit then go on to full like a train! Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Also its abit of a b!tch to start.. have to put you foot abit on the throttle then start it and even then it sometimes dont start. any suggeshions?

When was it last serviced? Try cleaning all the sensors too :thumbsup:

try cleaning/swapping the MAF that might sort the holding back :thumbsup:

which senors should i clean out? also i have got new plugs and leads and that didnt really do nothing to be honest.

also in 3rd when it gets to around 4k it really seems to be holding back!! like just doesnt want to but then get going around 5k but still ent pulling that well! anyone give me any help on this please?

cud be fueling problem for it holding back lambda might be leaning fuel mixture out

cheers for that mate i'l check the plugs tomorrow in the day light. i thought when we changed them they looked like they were running a little lean.

will an induction kit be worth doing or will this just be more hassle than its worth?

It gets said so often round here but it does make a difference - clean your MAF sensor! :)
