Ooo so it has given it more power with the standard ecu and maf

I'd try fit the ford TPS and take it back to see if it makes the torque any better.

Might have to do this on my pickup to give it a tad more power and grunt lol

@olly, as he is using standard ford ecu and sensors the airbox is needed. while running with aftermarket ecu the airbox could be discarded.. unless you wanted TBs and turbo conversion running through them

A nice power increase there, and the maximum power level has moved further up the rev range.

Are you going to use it as it is for now or go for that after market ECU?

so its working well on the standerd ecu well that's good.

i will have to make this my next power mod as i now have my ashaly full exhaust system so coupled up with a de-cat it will totally derestrict that side of things suposet to the 1.6 manifold.

so now all i need is the inlet derestricted and i think this will be the perfect way.
i was planning on useing the piper inlet box with mine if i ended up doing it look's good dont it.

i was planing on runing the air pipe for the piper box thruw the inner wing and to a flush fitting duct on the outer wing but not sure if it will get the best air flow as opost to it getting the air from the frunt of the car.

had a good trackday at Snetterton yesterday in and out of the rain, added in car video's to youtube.

during last trackday started getting bit too warm and as the air filter is now in a potentially hot area wanted to get some more cold air into the engine bay so made some extra holes in the bumper behind the number plate, so on track can just remove it a bobs your uncle

Good videos there, it looks like it goes well, and probably would show up a lot of more powerful machines.

How did the tyres perform in the wet? i see you locked up in one of the vids.

Also on the back straight are nearly on the red line in 5th, sounds like you've run out of gears!!
