thats how it stands at the mo, let the rebuild begin :chill:

as you'll see on the close up pic of the head that the valves dont sit flush, thats the bent buggers and there a few more :lol: :cry:
you'll also notice the piston to valve contact in one of the pic's :cry:

only bad thing about today was i broke a bloody clip!! :x :x

so is it a full rebuild now rather then valve swap?

hope its not broken to long :D

saying that i saw a saph on the back of a flatbed last nite :doh: but i think it was just being trailered about as it was a plain lorry :)

not sure on a full rebuild, i think they should be ok :look:

at the moment its still just a valve swap ;) sooo hopefully i'll be rocking and rolling soon again! :D

Well atleast its only a head rebuild fella... good new i guess....???

As its off might as well spend a bit of extra cash and have it cleaned up and slightly ported and polished i would of thought :) release a extra few more ponies :)

yeah i really happy in a way that its only the head, as i was having seriously bad thoughts that she had dropped a valve :|

not sure if its really worth getting it port and polished? :red: :lol: can i really release a few bhp from doing that and would it really be worth the money? :look: :lol:

all i know it i really just want her back on the road soooo might just leave it and do it when it needs a proper rebuild :halo:

dude i love your wheels lol, i miss mine :( was gonna put my wheels off the rs on to the fiesta but the front drivers that had the main impact the middle of the wheel had split big time and was beyound repaid.

But cars looking good tho man looking forward to seeing it back on the road.

Personally dont think its necessary doing porting/polishing and the associated costs invoved doing so, 8-) 8-)

get it back on the road for the summer and enjoy the car , thats the main thing
