Really sorry to hear whats happened terry! it happens to the best of us. Good luck getting it all sorted, and at least it gives you the oppertunity to upgrade various bits and pieces and generally give the engine a good going over. You will love the car alot more when its back up and running too 8-)

Gutted mate, I really love this car, I always worry on mine about the cambelt as they can do so much damage then they fail.

Bloody hell mate, that's not good. How old was the belt did you say? No chance of any compensation if it was a brand new belt from wherever you got it? Gutted for you mate, I know the feeling of something going horribly wrong :lol:

slight update:-

had a mate pop over today to help me with the cossie

we whipped the new cam belt on and did a compression test

results:-

No.1 - 90psi
No.2 - 0psi
No.3 - 70psi
No.4 - 0psi

head will be coming off soon so i can see whats what :chill:
