i just wondered if any of you had done the 1/4 mile and what sort of times you got

i got a little competion with one of my mates hes got 106 gti and ran a 14.9 he now got a manifold and hoping to get the same as my other mate widdo in his 106 gti as he ran a 14.5

so wondered if the 2.0 fiesta will beable to come close or beat these times

You'll not beat Widdo's time, i've seen him launch . Mark in his 106 Gti with just a De-cat did a 14.8. A 2.0 Si id say would be 15-15.5.

just wenny's 4wd cossie'd mk3 escort was doing 11.1 and most high powered Escos's were running very low 12's on sunday

have you ran your 106 down the 1/4 mile if you have what time you get

very nice i like superchargers my mate matty got a supercharged yaris then i sort of know yellowterror off 106 owners he had 106gti supercharged and then got craig whos got a supercharged c2 its just been done but sent it back and now camming it aswell and it should be back with 300bhp at the wheels and the bloke at gmc (think its that) said he thinks it will be the fastest c2 in europe and that was before he sent it back for cams aswell

I've not taken mine to the pod but cupra's with similar power seem to be running around 14
seconds, the jump in power to get from 14 to 13 in a FWD car is unreal.

I think they should do 1/4 mile starting from 30mph to give the FWD boys a chance LOL.
