Well not much of a great update today, but I'm happy with it.

40ltrs of normal fuel.

360miles and still going (just) gonna fill up tomorrow.

40mpg.

Thats with 270 of motorway and rest B roads.

Not bad at all for the shabby old zetec which is in need of a service desperately :lolz:

Thats good mpg for a RS1800 :thumbsup:

I did 500miles to a tank in my 1.8 Derv non turbo van at the weekend lol and that was with ragging it 80mph most the way.I was impressed to get that!

2.0ltr's should get good mileage due to the extra torque compared to my RS1800. Mines revvier and used more fuel compared to one lol.

When it was a TD I once got 400 miles to a tank which I was impressed with at the time lol

Done some more on the pickup this evening.

Basically sorting out the crappy back bit on the inside with lots of black stonechip, which you probably wont see due to it having a cover on it soon, which is a good thing.

Although I can see myself getting pissed off with the car soon, should be fairly easy but the little tiny bits that have to be done, in the most awkwardest of places where the paint had cracked..

The other annoying thing which is starting to make me hate the pickup is that, 6months down the line I bet something else cracks or ruins the car somewhere, even if its small... it would do my head in
