got myself this last week for a new runabout which i will be putting on the road in mid june as im taking my si off the road as i can't afford the insurance

its a 1995 1.3 LX with twin airbags central locking, k &n (coming off to be replace with a standard one)electric windows and power steering oh and escort xr3 wheels to be replaced with si 14inch ones
its pretty solid apart from the boot is rotten and the bonnet needs replacing the sills are minty mint

its needed a big clean and tidy up when i got it so heres some pics

decided to take the front and rear bumpers off to check and treat rust





i also gave the engine bay a quick degrease as well








the plans:

fit xr2i front and rear bumpers
fit xr2i skirts and arches
si rear spolier from my si i'm breaking
lower it a small amount
fit si alloys and boot strut covers
replace bonnet

The little white one looks rather mint! The bonnet looks nice lol.. and the K&N is fitted totally wrong lol.. dont tell me you dont like the sound of the K&N when you put your foot down .. Its so stupidly loud lol. Keep it

It will feel so slow compared to your 2 litre beast, but its a good little run around i suppose! Should look good when its got some new bumpers and skirts & arches on it

Shame about the quickshift!! Bit of a bugger that!

Its spec'd well with central locking and electric windows etc! Will look awesome with the mods you've got planned for it!

Hate the wheels its got atm!
