When u hear a loud car go passed the house, do u jump up at lightning speed to c what it was that went passed?

It was something that was spoken about at the southern meet, and that sunday evening me and adam (meilack) went to the pub with a few friends and a loud car went passed, both him and his mate looked out the window as quick as a flash. . . adam relised what he done, looked at me and laughed!

Do we all do that? lol .......

Yep, myself and tez will be walking along having a convo, some nice shiny beast will drive past, suddenly theres silence and we both look, agree 'that was nice' and then continue our convo

it was a sunday about 7am-ish i think, and a very very loud TVR (i think) went passed, both of us was in the land of nod. . ive woken up to adam shooting up out of bed to look outside. . 1min hes asleep, next thing u no hes at the window. . its like hellloooo its 7 on a sunday morning!!! lol

but as becks and i said we can usually hear a car coming then all our attentions turns to what ever it is that drives past

i must admit im guilty of this, will anyone else admit to recognising the exhaust note of local cars tho so you know who/what car it is going past without looking??

n yh i also know sum of the exhaust notes of friends cars.....but they ALL no mine lol it pops and bangs on run down

Guilty! I always turn round to see what it is when I hear something loud, but often for it to just be a chaved saxo or corsa

Yup, I'm guilty of knowing cars from their exhaust notes too, always know when each of the neighbours get home

becks and i were sitting in my lounge one day and i heard this burbling comming from the car park

i said that sounds near on exactly like my cossie!

so i shot to the window to have a nose and low and behold it was a cossie but not mine , he came into our car park turned around and drove off again

i can also always tell when rs baz turns up at our place!

got to love being a car enthusiast(sp?)
