Probably a thousand threads like this, so Mods : feel free to delete if you want.

But...

I will be receiving some lowering springs soon *Thanks Freeky for a good deal*

And I'm going to be attempting to fit them myself.

Anyone got any pointers from experiance?

For a good guide buy this months Fast Ford magazine, has a guide for escorts but its all pretty similar!!

I've been on the lookout for that mag for a while now but nowhere seems to stock it so far... I've found a few guides, just didn't know if anyone had encountered any problems when they have done it.

WHSmiths usually have a few copies in stock :thumbsup:

Its pretty straightforward really, just take the suspension legs off the car, then use a pair of spring compressors to shorten the spring, take the nut off the top which holds it all together and take it apart. Put the new springs on and do the reverse procedure 8-)
