i no thi spost is abit old but i thort i would tell you anyway for future notice, i had the same problem, the elecy motors felt like they wanted to work but they didnt,

takes about 3 mins to get working, nothing wrong with it all, if you look at your plug with both plugs plugged in, you will notice the wires dont line up with eachother, simply pull the wires out of one and line them up with the other and push it back in and it will then work a treat

Iam also having the same problem. I bought the loom that goes across the dash and both door looms. I've wired up the drivers door ok and pluged it in to one end of the loom. I've found the multi-plug behind the dash, it was under the drivers footwell just to the right of the stero. Problem i've got is, when the ignition is not on, the electric window switches are lite. When i press the window switch, the headlights, clock and speedo dial lights light up and i get no movement from the window mech although i can hear it make a little sound. Any help appreciated. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Ok, is this the correct multi-connector for the loom thats already in the car ?


one of the pins on the multiplug that connects the multi-plug already on the car has come out. can anyone tell me if it goes in the middle or end. have tried in both but still no joy, but just wanted to check. Its a grey\yellow one.

thats the Illumination wire, powers up the lights etc on your switches

thast the problem i had on my last si, what i done was pulled all the wires out and lined them up by colour, and it worked a treat as when i plugged it in how it was ment to be it just clicked and never worked, and everyone says just plug it in and it will be fine, bugged me for ages, then done it by colour then worked a treat

When I plugged mine in it worked no probs, no messing about with wires.

Mind if I ask where you got your middle looms? Are you sure they were from an Si?
