IIRC the series 3 zetec has solid lifters, not hydraulic. so i'd probably take a guess at no.

this is a guess so please bear that in mind:
id assume that they wouldnt work with hydraulic lifters as the gap set between the lifter and the cam would be different as its mechanically set from factory, whereas a hydraulic lifter will lift to a certain point but same as a mechanical one to a precise gap would it not?
i may have this totally wrong but that was my understanding of them?

you should think about a st17o head with the zetec turbo build a hear of 400bhp with little head work and u could try to use the rs manifold then as there better that the frst or erst :thumbsup:

i found it it was in june 2008 issue of fast ford they reackon that the st170 head has bigger ports and valves am not sure if there is any truth to this but if there is i may consider puttin 1 on mine to see if i can get it to st170 spec :hmm:
