Yeah, she's on mice at the mo, but she's about to go upto rats! Couple more mice and she'll be big enough for rat weaners. It's usually quite a tough thing to get them to change from one food type to another, so I just hope she takes it well :lol:

She's really quite placid, so doesn't mind being watched so much, but I usually leave the lid down and give her peace.

That's not even the best bit though, when you dangle the mouse in front of them, the most impressive thing is the speed at which they strike for their food! Litteraly a second and they've bit onto it, and coiled round it! I'll try and get a video of that :lol:

Yeah, they coil round it and crush it, but they're careful enough not to make them explode fortunately :lol: But being frozen thawed mice, they're obviously already dead. So once they grab it I make them think it's alive by making it "struggle" :lol: This is all done with feeding tongues of course, I wouldn't be getting my fingers that close.
