hi, is it worth wile cutting springs does it make them weeker or is it just the same as buying a lowering kit? i have brought lowering kits in th past but never cut springs before. any advise?

makes them both weaker and shorter. Obv if you cut them too much then they wont seat properly and IIRC cut springs are always an MOT failure

cutting springs is a very dangerous thing to do. If you do it you will comfortably live up to your username. simple as that.

so not a very good idea cutting springs then?
anyone got any 2nd hand lowering springs they wana sell as i am quite poor at the mo and dont have alot of dosh :thumbsup:
