Well having had a quick look at some pictures over the past couple of months, I thought I'd post up to show how our bosc is growing.

Quite frankly, his growth rate is a bit scary! Never known anything grow so quick!

Anyway, here he is not long after we got him:

We had him a few of months before Christmas I think. I can't remember off the top of my head now :lol: But he'll have the run of the house, whether we like it or not :lol:

Our Boa is starting to put some weight on now though aswell! She'll be a bit of a beast when she's grown up a bit...

Wow, it never ceases to amaze me how far this rumour gets! :lol:

Let me guess, a woman was lying in bed when she woke up and there was a snake lying her full length of her body, which was later told by a "vet" or someone that it was sizing her up to eat her?

Load of rubbish! There's not a snake on this planet that would be comfortable in eating an adult human. They may be able to kill you, yes, but eat you, far fetched. There have been reports of such incidents, but they've all turned out to be false.

But hence why you have them from a baby and tame them down, aswell as taking the normal precautions with such a large strong snake - ie: don't hold them on your own, wash your hands after handling their food so they don't think you're dinner, don't provoke them.

I'll take my chances with these pets over a dog that can maul you despite it being "really friendly".

Naah, it's cool dude. It's just one of them rumours you hear off sooooo many people. It's weird because when you're talking to someone face to face and try and explain that it is a myth, they get very defensive and all of a sudden, it's their mate's mom's cousin's dad's wife, who they know really well. This person must be known by literally millions of people :lol:
