throttle bodies are fitted, made the fibreglass airbox and fitted along with the MAF, hope to get it all wired up and running tomorrow

wired up the throttle bodies and sensors, and it started first time :) took it up the road and the throttle responce seems much chrisper than before, only one problem came when trying to stop, i hadnt connected back up the brake servo :doh: will get it on a rolling road again soon to see if its any better

Looks great Will. I want to see it in the flesh, how is it bodywork wise now? Did you
sort the bits on the rear 1/4? Or is it pure track slag?

Out of interest, what bhp was it running when I had it? Or did you not get it on a dyno
untill you made some modifications?

Get on a RR quick to see what the bodies make :)

Thought you were getting Megasquirt though? That will make more of a difference :devil:

hi Emlyn, think when i first got it on the RR it was about 128bhp at the engine which was then upto 139bhp so a gd solid engine, body work still the same and not improved with age as just a track hack now. runnning with the ford ECU was a cheeper trial following on from sk8xtrm inspiration, if doesnt work/improve will go down the megasquirt route as know someone in Norwich who produces it for under £300 just didnt fancy the setting up hassle but ment to produce 160bhp on a otherwise standard engine.

i based the plenum on the pipercross idea which just has a single end feed, as for the idle valve i did wonder but just left it unplugged and used the standard idle adjuster on the gsxr throttle bodies and seems to tick over well at about 900rpm

When you say about megasquirt, I hope you meant that it could make 160bhp with the throttle bodies on the standard engine, as I doubt standard engine + megasquirt would make 160bhp :)
