Hey im halfway through the 2L conversion an i dont know if i should blank off the egr i dont understand much about it

what difference will it make by blanking it off?

imo i'd get rid, when i had mine removed i found it got rid of a flat spot i had in the rev range, i don't think it really did much as the car still ran sweet as a nut with it removed :lol: :thumbsup:

plus having it still connected makes it a toal pig to get to your cps if you ever need to replace it! :hmm:

and if it goes wrong its a PITA to fix and expensive, my EGR on my old escort Si was blanked off :thumbsup:

nice one got 4 blanking plates on order now :thumbsup:

so what do i do with the void on the inlet where the tube from the EGR went? do i leave it or bung it up?

check that link, tells you which to blank and which to leave connected as i've read doing the wrong one can cause your to run like shit!

Its was mainly there to meet emissions regs ( basicly to help keep them down )
