I duno if this has been covered and tbh i cant be bothered to trawl through the whole post, but i think they should have continued with the cosworth, and as the focus took over from the escort i think they should have scrapped the RS Focus and just made a Focus Cosworth. Im sure there are many reasons they didnt, but i just reckon they would have sold them by the bucket load and probably have a pretty awesome car

And what ford shouldn't have done .... bloody made those propeller wheels on the older pumas :rolleyes:

the MK6 1.4 TDCI van at work... not sure on the tank size but the trip computer says only around 260miles to a full tank :hmm:

What the frigg? I can squeeze 340 (just!) or so in the RS1800 :lol:

i get 220 to a tank if i'm lucky but did get 350 or so on the way back from newquay with a leaking egr pipe erst gearbox and 2.0, worst i ever got was on the si's orignal engine 1.6 16v i got 180 miles to a tank

just been looking at prices, and i could in theory, sell my ST for £10000 which is more then i paid for it :lol:

as higher mileage cars from 2008 or still going for £9500+ :lol:

nothing serious though

although my "old ford" desire is strengthening again for some reason :lol:

i just thought it would be better on fuel then it is :rolleyes:

it costs me £250 a month before i drive it :rolleyes:

Yea, your obviously having the same "old Ford craving" I've got atm coz i'm driving my Mk5 zs over the winter and am really missing the good old Mk3

Get yourself a FRST and happyness will never leave you! :lol:

You could get an amazing one and still be heavily in pocket too 8-)

Get a 1.1 shell and plonk a good engine in. Sleeper Turbo, and have some money left over.
