i've got a budget of around £100 and i'm after the following:-

New pads (preferabley mintex or something)
New discs (grooved/dimpled/larger than standard)
Calipers (new/used)

Does anybody know where i can get some calipers from? ebay isn't much good and performance ones are ridculously priced...
i'm after second hand ones to re-condition and paint before replacing mine (mine have had several issues sticking therefore knackering my discs and pads)...
Do RS Turbo calipers and discs fit mk3.5 si's?
any info/help/advice appreciated

Go to a motor factors for pads, prob get them cheapish.

Disks.. same or halfords (halfords near me have a huge sale on disks and pads, my mate got some groved disks for his car for £25

Calipers - ebay, here, ft, fiesta centre.

XR/RS/Si/16v Ghia front brakes are all the same. If you want larger brakes the common ones are Escort Cosworth or Fiesta ST150 but you'd be lucky to get them for under £100.

Brakes for under £100.

So its the standard RS/XR/Si/Escort vented's out of the question.

Next up, Mondeo 1.8TD / 2.0ltr - Slightly larger than the standard fiesta vented's. cheap as hell to get from scrapyard, and discs pads are cheap.

Mondeo V6 brakes - from scrapyard, got a set for £20 last week, much bigger than standard fiesta ones and will be a cheap but yet effective upgrade.

MK3 Mondeo Calipers from scrapyard - pretty cheap. Mate them with ST170 discs (as the mondy ones are 5 stud pattern) and you have a 300mm setup cheaper than the Cosworth setup. (need 16" wheels min.)

i've bought some used Si calipers which i am going to refurbish in my own time, meanwhile i figured i'd get the local garage to un-seize my current caliper (quoted £30-£50). Fine i thought! anyway comes round to it and when i collect my car i'm presented with a £100 bill as they've stuck a new caliper. i've learnt my lesson. they are all scumbags.
So now i've already spent £140 on calipers alone lol...
pads/discs will probably have to wait a little while. luckily pads are relatively meaty still.

If you go to a decent Motorfactors, they'll give you a freshly refurbed caliper for about £30-50 in exchange for your old ones dude...
