Yeah, most places are higher than that round here, but the guy I take mine to is sound. It's also the oldest garage in Birmingham! And it shows. The place looks like a shitter, but I know they'd never rally the car about. And they don't mind me sitting in whilst they pass my 16 year old "jap crap" with no problems!

MOT immunity for 33 months. That should give you enough time to save up for your first MOT then

Apparantly, if anything is going to go wrong with a car, it's most likely to go in the first year of it being on the road...

and yeah well yeah you're right, 3 years of saving

and yeah tell me about it 3rd gear so far

my best mate has a brand new ST 500 fez, and thats had the rear light had to be refixed, the rearheated window switch fixed, and his 3rd gear is geoing like mine did

All just teething problems.

When my manager got his Audi S3 last year the steering rack was making a horrible whining noise so he took it back to Audi and the bloke there told him he was the last customer who reported it which made them go and redesign it. That got nicked though and his new one has it fixed already

Ahem, anyways, back on topic for Percy. I'm still saying just the cost of the MOT

Dampers £90
Rear discs £100
Rear pads £20
2x Tyres £50
MOT itself £30

£390 Still failed on emissions!

What did you do to get it through the emissions Scott? I think I'm going to have to put the cat back on at least, as a 3" downpipe, 3" decat, and 2.5" cat back exhaust with no baffles is going to fail miserably

Might have to slap a cat back on, but I'm going to see how it goes as it stands.
