Mole, i just brought some of those bulbs so i will have to arrange the de-tangoeing session with yourself

may treat myself to a K+N aswell

and the K+N gave 11.09 bhp and 7 lb/ft on the rollers as the STOC did a rolling road comparison against pipercross etc

obviously the cold air feeds will need fitting to help get the benefit

and yeah, almost every FST on the STOC is detangoed looks muuccchhh better

getting peed off though, waited 8 days for those bulbs and they still ain't here

i was impressed with the result moles got with just an exhaust and k&n

Standard : 154.4bhp and 145lb/ft

K&N and Magnex Cat back: 163.6bhp @5750rpm
154.0lb/ft @5330rpm

well judging by your RR result, and the STOC's comparison on a dyno, i should expect around 160bhp

and for a laugh i went to the moutune dealer, at ford in staines and nearly had a heart attack!

ST165 Package: £1400 + £400 fitting = £1800 + VAT

ST185 Package: £1800 + £644 Fitting = £2444 + VAT

Ford Lowering Kit:

Eibach -25mm Springs: £120 + £210 Fitting = £330 + VAT

Moutune Coilover Kit: £570 i think + £300 Fitting = £870 + VAT


Taking the piss slightly with the prices i think!

depends on whats involved in some of it. a spring kit is pretty labour intensive an depending on thier labour rate which by the looks of it is probs in the region of 100 quid an hour is about the average to be honest. if they corner weight and setup the coilovers properly then its worth it imo

well mainly the ST package prices are taking the piss

fitting is £100 an hour, which is garage related

but £1400 for an exhaust, manifold and induction kit? (ST165 Package)

4 hours is a fair time for that...with the right tools and cracking on you could probs do it in about 2.5 ish depends what its like to work on. some cars are utter filth but i dare say the original exhaust would have to be cut off which speeds it up a shade!

i think the package prices them selves are a tad expensive. I just wish you didnt have to get ford to fit the springs to keep the warranty in check

but giveit a year and i'll sod the warranty

Springs can be swapped back

Exhausts can be swapped back

etc etc
