the best thing to to for an mot with decat is to take your car for a good hard thrashing on the way to the test centre so its roasting hot and emissions will be spot on , that what ive done in the past allways works for my mates aswell ,

just thought i wud update you all seeing as i havent posted in here since before crimbo.

car hasnt really changed much, but has a few lil bits and bobs done to it.

i had this greased lightning showroom shine cleaning stuff 4 crimbo which my mam got me off ideal world on the tv and i have to say it brilliant stuff. it cleans the car without using water, all you have to do is squirt it onto the car then wipe it with a microfibre cloth. it polishes the car 2 bring a nice shine and it also protects, its great if you dont feel like getting cold and wet, and its easy to use. i would reccomend it 2 any1.

not long after xmas i was browsing round an aldi store and noticed this cd player, it had a full colour screen, front aux input 4 ipod/mp3s etc, sd card reader, usb input and remote control, and i think its quite nice looking, the sound quality is really good aswel! got it 4 35 quid! bargain i fink!

sum random icey morning pics:

and most recently, i have got, jasons (sk8xtrm) rear smoked lights from his Si, as they were a lot better smoked than mine and also got his passenger window mechanism, so now after a year and 3 months without it working i can finally open it!

took these pictures after a lil blast through a lane, hence y the cars stinking lol oh and my drivers side foglight had randomly started working agen! :halo:

4got to mention that my drivers side recaro seat, ripped off the runner the other day. took the seat out to find that the metal underneath the seat was cracked and split in places, so had to bolt metal plates to it to strengthen it. so its ok now.

sounds good but surely thats just going to rub the grit/dirt against the paintwork and scratch it and make loads of swirls?

nah it doesnt, theres sumin in it that lifts the dirt from the surface. didnt scratch the car 1 bit.

Im actually watching this cleaning stuff on dragons den at the moment lol!

The spray is like a soap with polish/wax mixed in, spray it, wipe it, buff with microfibre cloth. Seems like good stuff!

Cant be bothered waiting to see if anyone is going to invest, dinner is calling me lol

update:
havent really done much to my car recently

i had a jet sound 300w amp given to me 4 fitting an exhaust 2 one of my friends cars which i needed coz my fusion 1 has always played up!

its now gota a red rocker cover which i had done by a mate 4 servicing his car 4 him (ill get pics up later)

been breaking my friends mk5 zetec s so im gona have a few lil bits off that if they fit (duno if any of u know if these parts do):

front brakes
gear linkage
centre console (bit around the gear stick)
rear interior panels

im gona get the front wiper arms aswell, coz they look a bit rounder and more modern than the mk3 1s.
ive already got the ariel base and a lil beesting ariel on ther now off the zs (not sure on the beesting but the base is more rounder and looks better)
and ive got the piperx air filter off the zs aswell, just gota find the right size reducer pipe now 2 fit it, oh and i got a piperx cold air feed pipe aswel.

as far a i know the front brakes arnt much different to the si's unless the 1.4 doesnt have vented discs? then they will be better, cant see why they wouldnt fit though tbh

all the mk4/5 interier parts will fit into the mk3 :thumbsup:

as the shells are basicly the same!
