60mm is fine, just get your tracking sorted after you've lowered it.

From a person that actually owned a Fiesta si that was lowered 60mm for over 6 months and carried passengers in the rear.

thats what i thort. coz it wud understeer more if the front was higher, correct me if im wrong.

but is it the actual ride height that causes this? e.g 40/60

or is it where the body of the car is situated, as if it were 40/60 the back end would quite possibly level out with the front, as fiestas are higher on the back than the back as standard anyway. and if it were say 25/60 for example the front end of the body of the car would deffo be higher than the back end. which would cause understeer.

the front requires to sit lower than the back with a FWD car, as it's the best common trait for handling.

if you lower the back to be the same as the front or even lower, your handling and braking will suffer for it. Or so I beleive.

if you want to stop understeer (or as much as possible) your best bet is to polybush the front lower arms (or get some camber adjustable lower arms). i found on mine it made one hell of a difference to handling.
if its aesthetics your doing it for then 40/60 would even it out abit more :look:
