HI I HAVE A FIESTA SI WITH A 2 LITRE ZETEC LUMP BUT STILL RUNING THE 1.6 ECU AND 1.6 INJECTORS.COULD I FIT THE 2 LITRE INJECTORS STRAIGHT IN? I TRIED THE 2 LITRE ECU AND IT DIDNT WORK.WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO MAKE IT A BIT FASTER WITHOUT MESSING WITH RELIABLITY? ALSO ARE THE RS2000 ESCORT BRAKES THE BEST TO FIT TO FIESTA SI?

2.0 injectors will bolt straight into your 16v Si fuel rail

what ecu did you try? as only 3 are known to work with the Si's wiring etc, they are "DEEP", "DESK" and "DEWY" labled ecu's

think you can fit rs2000's ones, but the route that poeple usually go down brake wise are either cossie 4x4 or fiesta ST150 brakes

i think the rs2000 ones are meant to be an easy job, not 100% sure though.

as terry/onslack said the 2.0 injectors will slot stright into you 1.6 fuel rail but will need one of the ecu's that he has specified to run them with you will also need a 2.0 maf aswell! i would have tought if its running a 1.6 ecu and injectors then it wont be anywhere near to its standerd power output. Do you no what inlet manifold has been fitted to it, has it still got the 1.6 inlet fitted, and does it still have the 1.6 throttle bodie on it? if so then change them to rs1800 items as the 1.6 parts are very restrictive!

so check if the inlet a HO stampped on the back of it
remove the air intake pip that joins to the throttle bodie and see if it has a small diameter EG the butterfly(paddle) inside is alot smaller than the operning of the tb its a 1.6 item
