Hi just put my fiesta in for its mot and it only failed on one thing! The nearside rear lower suspension arm rubber bush has deteriorated. Anyone know what bush this is as the mot place havent marked the bush in question?

Cheers in advance!

heres a link to a similar suspension arm but basically its the one in the bottom right corner, best advice is to change the complete wishbone as the other bush will go not long after

Ah, so i could be completely wrong in thinking that its the rear suspension? I Shall check the front wishbone tomorow and i would think most mot places would mark the part in question with the dreaded yellow chalk!

basically he's saying its the rear bush of the front suspension arm, as there is no rear suspension arms on a fiesta...there are rear axle bushes but i'm sure he would have said otherwise

You were correct my friend thanks alot! Replaced the wishbone as this seemed like the easiet option. Had a couple of problems the new wishbone, the ball joint had a slightly larger diameter stem so wouldn't go into the hub. But the old ball joint was ok so drilled the new one out and put the old in the new wishbone. Would of taken it back but it looked a bit banged about after hitting it with a large hammer trying to make it fit! haha nevermind all done now!

Cheers!
