I appologize in advanced if this is infact a FAQ but im yet to see this question answerd and as you can see im new around here.

So ive got myself a X reg fiesta MK5 (A unpopular model from what I see?) and ive been trying to figure out for some time what size alloys i can get away with here, im looking for absolutly no rubbing if possible. Im sure im going to be asked what size tyres they'll be fitted with but if its atall possible can we work on the basis of a basic 'stock' new tyre set. Now there fitted with 14" as standard so id like to think 15" are a safe bet, what about 16's and 17's?

Any help on this matter (either a reply or a point in the right direction) will be much appreciated.

Cheers Guys n Girls

15's are fine as the mk5 zs comes with 15's as std
depending on the offset 16's and 17's will fit
you may need to get the areches rolledunless you have a zetec s as they are rolled as std

Thanks for your quik response, another thing I didnt mention is ive read alot of terms around here that are alien to somone 'not in the know'. Any chance they can be explained when used? Like "wheel arches rolled".

Thanks again everyone :)

on a arch there is normally a lip that sticks outs horizontally
when the arch is rolled this lip is folded up out of the way reducing the chance of the the bigger wheel catching on the arch
