surely they checked it over when taking the car from you, and then you checked it when taking the car back off them? - i was sure thats what they are meant to do, just so they can prove they didnt damage it etc in some circumstances.. and also for the owner to say oi ford you tossers..fix it.

I'd go back and give them some sh*t for it.

Then blag some upgrades.

Just complain like fook.

Like the fact you didnt have a car for x amount of time, due to that gearbox problem in a brand new car etcetc

small update:

joined the STOC so will have some window stickers and a tax disc holder to put in/on my car

part of me wants a k&n but i know how kirsty feels on the subject and i have to abide by warranty

just get a k&n, you can remove it when its service time and put the standard airbox surely?

ps. you'd have to sell the ST to afford the price tag i charge for rape!

no point, everyone on there does there car up with full exhausts decats flexis, lowered, etc etc don't seem to care about warranties

and sell the ST? i'd like to say never but i cold sell it now for a profit

ST165 Package : £1435 plus Labour of fitting so about £1900

ST185 package: £1835 plus £800 labour = £2635

ST165 Package: Manifold, induction kit, flexi, exhaust sports cat

ST185 Package: Above plus Cams and Different Valves and Springs

yeah i went to my local ford dealer (farnborugh) and asked about seperate modifications, like exhausts and etc but they don't do any but they do a lowering kit

and i just got some Fiesta ST Harness pad jobbies for the back

MY STOC stuff should be here soon as well

Currently have £350 saved which is mainly for other purposes but depending on birthday money i may be treating myself to a K+N also looking into detangoing the headlights , apparantly its not to involved just care is needed, so i may enlist help as i am a clumsy bugger

Tempted by the Ford Coilover kit by KW, but its £536 plus fitting so that may have to wait

Once my financial situation starts to clear up (payrise in 4 weeks hopefully, Bed payments finish in 3 months etc) i may start saving for a 185 kit, but it is bloody expensive but i daren't risk my warranty

after research, the de tangoing on facelift ST's is quite involved and if you get it wrong, expensive but one day........ one day
