a hillman imp is a far cooler car, but the ovlov is awsome too, i'd keep the imp tbh.

i like the imp, but i just dont fit into it properly, and its to good cut about moving the seats and lowering the steeing, completly origianle shell, no welding. im thinks a set of 15" banded steelies, valver engine on r1 carbs and go drifting with the volvo (and i will make it look good, i promise)

you cant really make an 875cc engine a sleeper, and the most you cant get out of one is around 100bhp-ish. and its far to good a shell to cut up to fit a newer engine in. im not getting that volvo anymore anyway, ive found much better ones for £150, tax and mot and low mileage. the thing that draws me to them is how easy it is to modify them, the near 50/50 weight distribution, and they weight a little over 1000kg.
i think im going to sell the imp as i have a guy who restores them interested in it. it will good to a good home. and im going to look for a new car to play with, i was thinking a mk3 fez with h22a turbo but i want a car that i can drive by the summer. im thinking a volvo 240 saloon 2dr? but there really rare (it looks like i will have to import one) i want something i can play with, dub out a bit and go drifting in. any ideas? (and it has to be classic which it 15year old)
