But am i right to feel a bit disapointed with the ST so far? The gearbox fault really has got to me more then i thought it would :|

Hopefully when i get it back i can start :D again

We all know that every car is wank in some way. so let's stop going off topic about French cars.

Ford have got better over time compared to their mk3 fiesta's, even if they still think they're better than they are. Pug/CIT have gone down hill and boring on the flip side which they don't seem to see. And Renault are just getting better and better and also have jap production on their side now. winnah.

let's hope Adam's car gets fixed promptly.

Sorry I didn't mean to cause offense, I do just believe ford have lost there way slightly, the C2 VTS vs ST doesn't stand with me, as you are comparing different engine size, insurance groups etc, the more equal is the Zetec S 1.6. I needn't say which way that will go. When you do a fair comparison 2.0 vs 2.0 ther Clio cleans up.

This doesn't make the ST a bad car, they are very nice, just don't win on the value front really.

I did actually consider the Swift too when I was buying the C2, but couldn't get one cheap enough.

i agree on value, i got a brand new one for £9370, and people are trying to sell 56 plate white ones for £9600 :lol:

white carries such a premium! :rolleyes:
