I recently bought a 3 door fezzy si with a buggered up lock on the drivers side,i have managed to take the lock out but when i unlock it from the passengers side it just unlocks and locks the central locking,i can get the door open before it locks but then it will just go mental!!trying to lock and unlock,if i shut the passenger door it will lock all the doors. could it be the rod that usually goes onto the lock barrel? cos it isn't attached to anything.Thanks in advance and sorry for saying lock so many times!!

Well since no-one replied,I had to have a go at it myself,after learning the forum search button was my friend I read something about a spring that can fall off,i had a route around the bottom of the door and Woohoo! i found a spring,can someone tell me where it goes?I cant have a look at the passenger side lock because the spring has come off there as well! thanks.

All sorted now,got a spring from a 3 door mark 4

And now my car will lock and unlock fine now,no more trying to open it before it locks itself.

I have heard alot of people saying about CL problems though so this may be it

Ive never know once to have any problems with the CL itself, but only the locks breaking, which happens to me all the time.
