HI, as i was driving like a plonker and bent my rear beam around an island :( I now need a replacement one fitting, I have been looking into it and it seems that a few other fiesta rear beams may fit the mk3 but i am not sure weather it will just be an easy swap or if more work would need doing to make them fit for example . . . the mk4/5 rear beam does this fit the SI?? and will it need any more work to get it fitted. Even having a lower grade mk3 1.3 will this be any diffrent to have on a SI? (just keeping my options open as the more type of beams that will fit the quicker i will find a replacement) sorry for going on. . . can u guys help? thanks

MK3 4 5 beams all fit.

MK4 5 ones apparently stronger then mk3 ones.

the mk4 5 will fit but they have defferences in the suspension mounts iirc the earlier mk4s had a fork mount fitting and the mk5s have a eye mount fitting also the rear stub axles are different desgin

ive got a spare si one if your interested

A Mk5 standard will bolt up. So will a ZS one. Apparrently there stronger and sturdier, Ive got one on mine but not driven it cos rest of car is not finished.

With both of them you will need to change stub axles and drums etc to mk5 ones. Or focus discs. Fit some Powerflex polybushes too.
