Whenever I turn right, mostly when cold, there's a loud bang coming from the o/s wheel area somewhere half way through the right-hand lock? It's been doing it for ages but on the MOT they said the lower arm was fine and I can't feel any play in the cv joints? I did then think maybe the archliner's catching or something but that appears to be out the way too.

Stuck on this one!

Found a clip of it from my cctv lol, it's a bit quiet so you'll need to turn it up to hear it but it is a loud noise!

same sorta noise i was getting and it was lower arm/ track rod ends first time... then driveshaft as gearbox mount had gone i think.. but you say loweer arm is ok? hmmm

sure i my Si had something like this ages back and it was something at the top mount

of course i could be totally wrong

Does it when braking after reversing but a sort of "bonk" sound so I'm beginning to think it's a spring or something. After all, it is Gmax suspension :lol:

Well if it is G-Max I would investigate the suspension itself and the mounting, bushes etc. They has been some bad reviews/reports on the G-Max stuff.

you sure its not a broken spring? they can be difficult to see that there broken. also have you got gmax spring and strut or just the spring and standard strut

what this about bad reports on G Max suspension, fitted quite a few and never had a problem,

Haven't stripped it down yet to have a look, far too cold! But will be checking it out soon.

It's a full Gmax kit, shocks & springs :)
