right im getting a bit more money in feb, so i think its time i move on a bit in the car world, so i'm looking at somthing a bit newer and nicer than the clio.
so far ive come up with these choices, but its always nice to have people throwing their opinoins in.

when the time comes i'll be going on about a million test drives as i basicly want to try anything that i'm even slightly interested in, so if you have anymore suggestions throw them in.

Could go for an elise instead of a 220 depending on price? or how about an RX8(unsure on the price compared to your selection)

Aint these all FWD if im not mistaken? If so dont bother with any of them, why not go for a scooby, evo or something like that?

Personally its all about the VX220. Much faster/more fun than the rest! And looks alot better, also as previously said, how about an elise (or exige )

as much as i like the R26's abilities, the twingo is good and a DC5 has the 'Tec noise, VX220 turbo will be immense

i believe the turbo is 4.7 0-60 as standard

i'd go for that, the only vauxhall i seriously like (minus monaros )

R26 Or DC5 as 2nd choice.

its all about the 220. only other thing i can think of is skyline of some sort?

vx220 is a great car but the vauxhall badge would put me off it even tho it is really is a lotus elise with vauxhall badges and airbags, twingo looks good tho

I'm not a fan of VX220's personally, but are any of these in your price range too?

Of course they are all in different leagues, and so on, and I'd only buy a few of those in the list myself, but If you get a DC5 or an R26 I am around in a shot dude and you know it. It'd be a mixture of happiness and jealousy for you.... bastard!

You may hate me for saying it, but you do know if I had 12k to spend, I'd spend 4/5k on a DC2 for the weekend/track, and 5/7k on something comfy but sporty, Like an Accord Type R, 182 Trophy, Megane 225 iuf you're lucky etc etc so at least you won't suffer depreciation too badly if you did say, by an R26.

Out of those four I would probs get the VX220.

Looks the best in my opinion (even with those badges on!) and is probs one of the better handling out of the choice.

A turbo VX220 would be an awsome choice in my opinion.

What about an alfa 147 GTA, don't know much about them other than they
look unbelievably nice.

Can pick up some scoob's/EVO's for good money these days, my mate had a WRX
STI (old shape) which was great fun, soooo much grip.

get a evo 5, there cheap to buy, and by the look of your car choice your over 21 haha

no update yet, it won't be untill febuary anyway.
No evo either, cheap to buy perhaps, but not to run! I'm 25 btw so insurance isnt a problem really

ill say the r26 then, can always have a fiddle with the 2litre turbocharged engine its got 227bhp and goes 147mph i think if your clever you can push that to another 80 possible 100 bhp.

VX220 All day long, not quite the prettiest thing, but handle well, and go well too, with oodles of potential to boot. Apparently the only thing that lets these down is the badge. Quite rare too.

All FWD other than that, you not tempted by something that is R/4wd?
