as said do you have a man or auto adusting clutch peddle?
man will have a lil white screw bit on the peddle and auto will have nothing, most si's that i no of are man!
if you have the white screw unscrew it about 5 turns and then push it in with your thum, if it doesnt go in with your thum then tap it with a hammer

this will realease the rachet allowing you to attach to cable to the gearbox arm
once you have done this tighten the screw right up again and then loosen it off again (but dont push it in like you did with realseing the rachet) and pull the peddle up so its basicly justbelow the hight of the brake peddle then tighten the screw back up, test to see if you can select all gears easyly when driveing, if not then loosen the screw off again and pull the peddle up 1 click and try again(reapeat this untill the peddle feels right and all gears work) if the clutch is slipping then reapeat the adjusting process again
