glad to see the car made it out relativly safe too... i would offer my hand down there but the only days i get off are thursday and friday and thats no good.

firstly sorry i never text you in the time becks and i were in cardiff, all the freezing cold, wetness in the welsh valleys kinda drained us both :look: :red:

we are both ok.lol

ii managed to upload for photos from my phone but them my credit went so i will get the rest of them up tomorrow morning with more interesting pics.lol

Ive given up working out that pinking problem now, well after that near 27bhp power gain i really didn't want to drop back down and to be honest it made me start to loose interest :( so the only way to fix this is to make it bigger and better :P

So we've spent abit of money on her (its her xmas pressies from me :D ) purchasing new stuff to build her back up! including a 4-2-1, complete wiring loom (now fitted) lots and lots of 52mm i/d intake piping. new spark plugs, filters and a new intake manifold, and my plan is to o on a mad one this week. every night i finish work and work on her til about 12 every night...i want her alive and better than ever :P

i cant wait to get the pics up to show you all...see what you all think :)

Again tho thank you for all the comments. Also i have uploaded photos of the body as it stands now as its been a while since i shown her.

She is running 52mm ITB's :devil: :lol: :lol: :lol: on standard management :P

A LOT of people said it was impossible to do but i had a try to make a quick little air box out of piping, bit of heat wrap and connected it back up to the MAF and it works im so happy with the fact it runs and very very well! it doesn't like to go below 2000rpm at the moment but it doesn't have an idle control valve at the moment. ive fitted my TPS sensor and all the other sensors to the bodies already...i love it :D

IT BACKFIRES LIKE MAD WHEN COMING DOWN THE GEARS :D
before anyone says i know i wont get no where near as many gains without after market management but if you think the bodies cost me £60 in total and the rest of the stuff i made...your looking good bhp return for your money! :P so im happy with it and above 2000rpm it runs perfect not one problem, my air/fuel ratio gauge reads it as optimal and on full throttle slightly rich! ill have photos up by 10am :) id say the power is similar what is was on the carbs maybe a fraction less but with a lot more noise! :devil: :devil: im not expecting the same amount of BHP as you would get with after market but if you work it out im getting a lot more BHP for my money.

now i just need to make a pretty looking air box, fit the Idle control valve and away i go :P

here are the pics as promised, before anyone comments on my little intake system...it is literally...well my prototype and now im 100% it works im going to get my mate who's a welder to build either a stainless one or an ali one for me :) room is a serious issue tho so ill literally just build a metal one of these and make it all shiny...more tapered towards the fourth cylinder although here are a few of my stupid quick designs to obtain equal air flow as well :P
