Well I dont think they would be different as both 1.4Si and and 1.6cvh engines are both cvh so I guess so?

I have come across a couple of things just wonder if anyone new the solution.
1st do I need to swap the flywheel sensor over from the fiesta to the mondeo engine?
2nd do I need the little white sensor or box thats located on the rear of the coilpack mouting?

Cheers

id say if its on the mondeo engine then the ecu might need it, but if there no connection on the fiesta loom for it then you cant use it.

What paint have you used for the block?

Also, have you painted the head silver or is it just polished to that clean?
How will the paint affect the inlet/exhaust gasket mating to the head? Don't suppose it'd make that much of a difference!
Have you ported & polished or is it over spray in the inlet/exhaust ports?

Still not sure what I'm gonna do with my engine, but need to get the colours sorted out first me thinks!

Na I have just polished the inlets/outlets mate.
I just picked up some silver spray down my local motor shop for alluminium.
And no it wont upset the gaskets I checked this out

Right I finally have the 2litre in the car running however when the fan comes on and the car is idling the revs drop dramatically and its suffers however after that its ok apart from the ocassonial lumpy idle. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

Thanks

as far as i no they all do this, its just because its takeing power to start itself up, revs drop and then go back to normal within a second? only thing i have thought about with mine to get rid of this problem is to fit a bigger battery :) but i wouldnt worry about it, both my 1.6 and the 2.0 have done it

check your iscv, give it a clean etc mayb its just being very slow on responce due to it being clogged with muck! may be worth trying a new fan also ;)

ISCV vavle is brand new however I will take it out and check it for piece of mind, and as for the fan I no theres no problems. Think my best bet is to take it to the tuning place near me. It really quick though I am impressed.
