the mrs has said she will buy me a private plate for xmas if i want it, pretty standard just date of birth and my initials (edited). not sure if i want it though, what do you guys think of them??

yeah its for the fez but i will just slap it on the corsa for now, its only £245 inc vat and transfer fee so can be put straight on!!

I want SM53CUP or RS53SDM but I can't afford either! My ideal one would be MOR10N but 1) that looks too much like Moron and 2) it's on a dead car so the plate is dead. Out of the £250 ones I could have Whatever letter then 19SDM though so I'd just get that.Prob an older plate so I can bang it on my Ren 5 when I get it. I want consecutive plates on my cars though

Strangely enough I find cars with 6 letter/number plates better looking that 7 or 5.

So as long as it's a 6, I'd go for it, personally because it will make the car look better

Pretty sure you couldn't have it anyway, my understanding is that your car would have to be a 2007 model to have that plate! But i could be wrong, can't say i've looked to deeply at private plates, i have looked but then thought him £250+ for a plate, i could buy 2500 penny sweets for that!

Ive looked into plates, but knowing me I'd buy an older car meaning I wouldnt be able to use the plate.

Also the fact there arent many I would like

Another thing that puts me off... I could buy some much better things with £250+

And I get enough attension in the Pickup from the police and others without having a private plate on it (in the past 2 weeks I've been breathalised twice, and one "routine" check)
