What sort of petrol car has good mpg and is comfortable to drive?

old vectras or things like that?

gotta be fairly cheap to buy lol

dont want deisel as its too expensive and work dont pay me back as much fuel money as they expect deisels to do better mpg (oh how wrong they are with the older ones lol)

if you want good mpg go for a citreon ax!

i honestly can not think of a car that is both cheap to run and comfy. i cant get comfy in a low powered car that needs ragging to move 10mph.

The twin turbo jaguar that jeremy used to drive from france to blackpool in. If you ever seen that episode of Top Gear you will no what I mean. He basically got there on one tank of fuel gunning it through france, pretty amazing :chill:

all car fuel gauges are very inaccurate... I just dont fancy breaking down and having to fill up at side of a motorway in the pissing rain, otherwise I'd drive mine while its "empty" :lol:

I'm just sticking the TD Escort on the road.. cheap buy and cheap fix. Given up caring now, as I'd have to spend a good wedge of cash on something decent. Although the older ford TD engines are sh*t on fuel along with most other ford engines :rolleyes: :lol:
