Ford have always skimped. Its called business.. they sell more cars for the leases and business people, who change cars every year or so.. so they dont plan on making them last forever.

once u get the shell able to roll out of the garage again u will be able to sort the garage out, then it will be a easier place to work in, i'm more than happy to help clean the car and garage some time to help make it a tiny bit easier for u mate

ive binned loads since i took those pics...its relatively clean in there..save for some dead leaves..when i could be somewhere warm with my mates and not up to the ends of my life in poxy fiesta bits and info and freezing my arse off...thats what im enjoying

its not a case of it being a mess and stuff..my hearts just not in it anymore. genuinely the funds are there to finish it. im not bumming out cos im upto my eyes in debt. im not. at the end of the day a one off is a cool thing..but im prepared to admit defeat this time.

If thats the way its got to go then i suppose thats it.

I got like that a few weeks ago, but was pissed with the amount of shit i had everywhere and being moaned at by my dad for space. But i thought ive gone this far, i might as well not stop. Now all ive got to do is put (get) my rear brakes on, and its pretty much ready to start fiddling with the engine stuff.

It might just be another fiesta that draining your pockets, mine certainly is lol but theres people that spend thousands (10s of) restoring old VW's, modifying 106/saxos/corsas/novas/bmws etc and we still might say there shit, or its just an old car why spend that much money on it. If i wanted a fast car i would go and buy one, but i dont id rather have an old ford that i personally think looks good, and have it how i want. Im sure others on other forums say fiestas are shite but thats just oppinion.

If your hearts in it, do it, if its not, dont.

Well.. Fords Fiestas.. you can add luxeries easy enough, better suspension, nice seats, aircon, sound system

All cars are unreliable if not looked after properly

You can fit a V6 in a mk3 fiesta easy enough..

And you can pick up plenty for under 500..

So I dont see your point

er my 22 year old xr3i does not have any rust on it bar a tiny scratch which has surface rusted on the bottom corner of an arch
