I'm thinking of upgrading my current suspension setup on my Fiesta Si 16v, but need some ideas.

I've seen that the RS 1800 setup is one of the best standard, but this is hard to get hold of. Any ideas where a good place (other than Ebay) is to get hold of it.

Or, just reasearching, would Mark 5 Fiesta Zetec-S suspension fit onto a Mark 3.5?

I've looked into getting some after market gear, but in all honestly, I'm limited on money and want to try and stick with Ford gear as I need my car to be good all round, and sports suspension can be tiring and uncomfortable on long motorway journeys.

Any ideas or help is appriciated. Inspired to change it since the FIesta meet at Thurrock on the 16th. :)

None of the Mk5 suspension will fit directly on. Im fitting ZS axle and mk5 shocks and springs. Not a direct fit though.

Best bet is to get a koni shock and spring kit. Ride should be comfortable and improve handling a bit.

My friend who's performance tuned his Fiesta Mark 2 has suggested just putting strut bracers on the current suspension setup. Said it improved his handling loads and is a cheap way to improve suspension.

I put one on my Fiesta, couldn't agree more. Stiffened the fucker up no end. Mouse also agree'd when he bought it off me :lol:

Gotta make sure you get the right one though, otherwise it won't clear the inlet manifold.
