told you mate.....flat them town ...give them a fresh coat of fairly thick lacquer....don't matter too much if it runs....then sand back with the finest grit wet paper you have(sanding out any runs).....and then T-cut them and buff them up

Just done my dads JDM style....and my fronts....not really sure about mine though....dad's look ace though....finish has turned out well on both though, didn't even lacquer mine....just added a tiny bit of tint spray....sanded and buffed:

No worries Alex :)

Started tinting my rear lights today, sanded them down, masked them up and sprayed :)

I think i did quite well, but did one bit a bit thick and had a few runs, me being stupid didn't think to wait for it to try and sand them out once they had dried, i tried getting the excess with a tissue, so i think i mght have to do one part of the light again :(

Will have to see how bad it once they have dried.

what i'd do is give it a few more coats to build up a bit of tint/lacquer where you rubbed it away...then leave to dry and sand the imperfection flat...should sort it

There is now a Ford badge on the bonnet now, seeing as everyone hated the Fiesta one.

I have to admit it does look so much better with the Ford badge back on there.

I also have a fiestaturbo.com sticker on my sunstrip on the passenger side, i like it and its in a different palce to the norm.Don't hat me for it.

As far as my rear lights go, i sorted out the runs, put a few more coats on and parts went cloudy, most it has gone but some of its still there so i need to sand down the cloudy bits again and spray them when its not so cold. Going to try and get them finshed this weekend and work out how to keep them warm :)

I will get some pics up, as some were taken at Bluewater yesterday :D

did you do the tinting inside or outside.....if the latter try to do them inside with some newspaper down, a heater will help as well
