I remember a few people a while ago having flocked fiesta trim, and was wondering what people would pay for flocked bits of trim..

As in A pillars, door handles, speedo surround etc etc

And even a full dash.

Curious to see what its worth.

i had a qoute from a company for a dash, if i sent it to them they'd flock it and send it back all wrapped up for 120... think thats a bit much tbh.

arent there flocking kits now you can do yourself? id be interested in them...

Well I am doing some myself, and was wondering what people would be willing to pay for interior trim parts flocked up (as some people arent into the diy type thing etc).. 120 for a dash is daft. I'd do one alot less

I've looked at buying a few machines, but in all honesty, it's one of those mods i wouldnt bother with unless i had a serious track car or had the spare cash.

you can pick a machine up for about 30 quid, then cost of fabric and adhesive, but to get a good quality finish requires skill and the use of a quality flocking item, and the machines used from places like suffolk flocking use good/expensive machines.

i'd be interested to see what you can come up with, im unsure about doing it myself, as i dont want to waste 45 quid on an attempt

£100-£120 is the going Rate TBH and i think its about right, you can buy kits but the finish compared to the likes of Suffork Flocking Services is no where near.

id be willing to d.i.y flock bits like a piller trim etc, but i think id have the dash done properly,
happypaul, post some pics up, you may have some customers if it looks good.
