Dude, you can't compare a TU engine to a bloody Zetec I'm yet to see a good one! Bare in mine this is a 1.6 pushing 190bhp and this is by no means the pinnacle. There's far greater peak figure out there. I'll reserve all judgement on Fezzy's engine until I see it either; 1) passing me or 2) on an accurate rolling road.

So if i get a Run from Surrey Rolling Road it won't be deemed "accurate"

Not saying its not accurate, but you wont really be able to compare with figures from SR.

Well i can live with that for now, haven't got the money to go to streetracers at this point in time or the inclination to travel 3 hours for a power run on a standardly not powerful car

from my point of view, they were in performance or fast ford this month, and its local to me so i'd rather go there then street racers due to location

Just make sure if you do any mods you go back there and get the comparisment figure.

Its ok aslong as you stick to the same rollers when comparing power figures after mods!

Yeah i will, if i actually bother putting the ashley centre back on and a new 4 branch, as the centre section is in my mates garage, my neighbours think it was binned

Current mods are a K+N Panel Filter and a Ashley Backbox

Not really. 200bhp from a heavily modified fast road engine? You get that from a Honda K20 engine with more to come on a single inlet and manufacturing tolerances. All about the noise with me for bodies, the peak figure is just a number.

From what I have seen, modified Zetec have pretty flat power/torque curves
so lots of useable power. Rather than spouting up at the last second. I'm not
saying the K20 does that, I'm just saying Zetecs are very useable engines. I imagine
a 200BHP one is awsome.

As for sound, I think some bmw engines sound fantastic on itb's, my friend had some
on an e30 m42 and it sounded the tits. I'll see if there is a vid lurking about.
