Anybody have any experience/info on LPG conversions?

Preferably cheap places to get it done, or DIY ;)


I realised the pickup has the space for a tank of it, and its cheaper to use than petrol, as long as it doesnt kill mpg etc :lol:

guy on our car club has had it done, and really rates it as well.....think he paid 1400 for it....he does have a v6 though so may be cheaper for 4 cylinders?

I'd only contemplate it for anything small if CHEAP.

If I happen to get a large engined cruiser id definately be doing it tho!

every time we have had a car come in to work with lpg fitted its always been the cause of their problems im afriad lol
im not saying its bad, as ive never personally had to fix em, we just tell em to go back to where they got it fitted as we dont offer or encourage the use of it on our vehicles but what i will say is if your gonna get it, make sure its guaranteed by the place fitting it for at least a year.
do let us know how you get on though as im quite curious now!
