Friend with a 106 quicksilver wants a lil more power to it, got an exhaust and filter allready, i said next step is cam kit? Not interested in changing engine or anything like that.

Dont know anything about a TU3JP engine, whats best tuning options, is a cam kit worth it and what gains should you expect? Any particular makes/kits to look for?

cams. newmans do good ones. the cams are cheap enough, the remap that is needed for them to work to their best is a big price bumper.

bike carbs and a dizzy.

also a manifold would help him slightly too, and make a slightly nicer noise.

Best option is to rip it out and put the TU5 in from a VTR, more power and Torque from standard and will about the same as tuning the TU3 engine!
