I thought seeing as i am going to be buying an Si sometime next year, here are some pics of my current car, its my first car, i have had since i passed my tested back in March 2007.

I have owned the car since September 2006, i bought it from a neighbour for £400, a 1.1 rattler with 74,000 on the clock, which i didn't think was too bad for a first car. :)

The car is named Archie, because it failed the first MOT i put it through while owning it for Excessive rust on the passenger rear quater, my dad set about repairing it, he did a good job but the arch got left in Primer for about 9 months before it eventually got painted, because of this he got named Archie by my mates.

The red Arch in all its glory

Some up to date pics:

And how the car stands at the moment:

Its got the complete 3dr Si interior which i manage to pick for £50 locally, but i haven't got an up to date picture of this.

All i have left planned for Archie, is spray my rear lights red but leaving the indicators and reverse light lense clear, and get the Si spoiler i have in my loft, on the car.

I hope you like it, but feel free to say what you want

i agree with paul! slam a bigger lump in there, sort the suspension and brakes and keep it looking like it is! sleeper FTW!!!

plus i think some of these lower spec mk3s are starting 2 look old skool nowadays! ;)

but 4 now mate, do wa im doin, get the handling sorted and have fun thru the corners till u can afford a bigger engine!

wats the full spec on this anyway?? it looks lowered and that exhaust looks a lot like mine tbh! and i spy wolfraces!

i was gutted the other week mate! 1.6 16v tourmallard green Si 4 sale, 33k, Full ford service history in st albans4 a grand. rang up about it nd it was sold! :( i was too slow then.

and the was another 1 4 sale in preston with 29k on the clock which was mint 4 995!

so there is a few mint 1s that pop up now and agen! just keep a look out. i been looking 4 a mint 1.6 si but i fink im just gona wait and put a 1.6 cvh xr2i lump in mine, seeing as mines solid, faster than an Si and more tuneable. ;)

lights are quite easy mate! theres a guide on fiesta guides on how to do it!

a lil tip thou: stand the tin of tint in a bowl of warm water 4 about 10mins. u will a better shine then. i need to do mine agen coz i didnt do that on mine.

Yeah, there are a few nice ones, its just finding them, that the not so fun part :(

Once i have saved up the money, i plan to wait until i find the perfect one, i am not going to rush into getting one, and i am happy to spend up to a grand on one :)

Cheers for the tip on the lights :D

On a postive note, my dad adjusted the tappets today, sounds a lot quieter as the tappets used to be really loud as they were really out :D
